WEEK 1
POST THREE IMAGES
A: YOUR BEST PIECE OF CREATIVE WORK BEFORE COMING TO THIS COURSE, THINK LATERALLY IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE "CONVENTIONAL" ART OR DESIGN WORK
This is one of the free hand drawing works I did in summer. I am prond of this work because I carefully deal with the density relations and apply different techniques of the line drawing to different objects in the drawing. Also the color balance of the tree in the middle perfectly fit in the whole atmosphere which makes this drawing even better.
B: AN IMAGE OF A GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE
C: AN ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL

B: AN IMAGE OF A GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE
“Ripley’s believe it or Not” is located in Ontario, Canada. This is one of the wonderful museums in the world. The museum is built as if it is going to collapse and decorated with clever spot coloring which makes it full of vigour. The reason I think it is a great piece of architecture work is because this kind of museum design style breaks the convention of symmetrical and solemn atmosphere a museum usually creates.
C: AN ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
This pure natural original photograph is the one I prefer to recommend. It was taken last year when I was in Huangshan, a most famous mountain in China. It is not only the secluded atmosphere I really enjoy. Most importantly, the composition of this picture inspires me of how to deal the white space with object in my later architecture study.
